A CANDID MESSAGE TO THE PUBLIC

The Lindo Park or Savannah at Goodwill was once the center of my universe and I know that statement is true for many who grew up in the neighborhood. As the YW Sports Leagues move forward in reestablishing what we once had, the YW family will be including the hospital, cancer society, Infirmary, and many other healthcare organizations through CAREUPP and the Ambassador BackPack Drive as we continue to give back to the community.

YW Sports Leagues Health Fund

We will be establishing the YW Sports Leagues Health Fund to assist healthcare organizations in providing care to the citizens of Dominica. As a result, during our events everyone must adhere to this health fund clause, as we pull together funds to open a new avenue of funding to assist the healthcare organizations in Dominica.

YW Sports and Music Festival

On the 2025-2026 calendar is The YW Sports and Music Festival. The festival is designed to run for one week and includes a sports component and a musical component; as an annual highlight of the YW Sports leagues. At least 90% of every business negotiation will include this new healthcare funding clause, condition or requirement that is specified or demanded as part of the agreement

A Big Thank You

We show our appreciation to the YW management team in Dominica headed by Mr. Moses and Mr. Loblack who also serves the citizens of Dominica through the Dominica police and prison services. Thanks to Miss Rolle who is usually a phone call away and leads any project she is asked to perform. Thanks to Lady Esse/Shirley Charles for all what she has done for the network particularly on the broadcast side at multiple locations in Dominica. Thanks to Mr. Derick RAH Peters for his encouragement and support. Thanks to Shawn George for his inspiration and courage. Thanks to everyone who has played a role in some way or the other.

YW Reestablish

YW has defined reestablish as an individual or family who has returned to the homeland after residing abroad for five years or more. The concept has grown tremendously and we will be performing many services for the community when our offices are opened in Dominica.

YW Sports Leagues

Big thank you to Mr. Hamilton who is doing some incredible work in the community particularly in creating the schedules for the leagues. Thanks to the Goodwill sports committee, Goodwill improvement committee, YW diaspora-international committee, and to every individual on these committees for their time and dedication.
